Grassroots Group's Petition Drive Blooms!

Dozens of Redondo Beach residents participated in Saturday's cross-Redondo Petition Drive.


Thank you to Albertsons, Vons and Whole Foods Market for supporting the democratic process by providing the venues.

Thank you to the Manhattan Bagel and Bread Company for providing breakfast and brunch items for our volunteers.

Thank you to Aloha Sharkeez for providing lunch and snack items for our volunteers.

And thank you to all of the volunteers who took so much of their time and effort to support this important event day.


Saturday, April 13th, was our Petition Event Day. We had petitioners from all parts of Redondo Beach participating in our Event Day for collecting petition signatures. Here is where some of the action was (link back to Home at bottom of this page)...


Albertson's at 1516 Pacific Coast Highway (near Hollywood Riviera)

Outdoor product display occasionally makes for a make-shift signing table.


Local residents are interested in discussing the Heart of the City Plan.

The idea of voting sells itself.

Thanks to our "pinch hitters" who volunteered at this location at the last minute - just a few of them are shown here.

People at all locations showed great interest - singles, couples, and families.


We found MANY people to be in agreement with our position of wanting a vote.

Many came because the heard about the Saturday Event Day Petition Drive.
